Going to fail… Unless…

© Carlos Moreno

How many of us have already felt the failure sensation. At some school or university test, an audition or performing on stage. We are always questioning ourselves. Your are truly demanding about our competences, our qualities and our unlimited goals.

I’ve seen many cases of people who deeply believe they’re not good enough and give up of their dreams, allowing the fear and the less good circumstances to control their dreams and stop them.

But I do believe there is a time and a place for everyone. We must respect each others and we must respect ourselves, our dreams and our lives because time goes so fast and in the end what remains? A life with no dreams and plenty of frustrations.

If we really have a big dream we should go for it. To have a great career doesn’t necessarily means to be singing everywhere and performing in a crazy life. It can be our great career. Our conception of a great career. Always with dedication and based on passion.

I watched this TED Talk called “Why you will fail to have a great career” and I found it so puissant I decided to share it. It can somehow touch you and make you change your plans… Sometimes everything is within a walking distance of an “Unless…”.

Hope you enjoy it: Why you will fail to have a great career by Larry Smith.
