Motivation

“A year from now you will wish you had started today…”. This quote from Karen Lamb is powerful and means a lot to me. I’m a human being with dreams, desires, fears and sometimes lack of motivation. That is hard to feel, but also important once that allows me to reflect and understand what can I handle or not. And we all can handle more than we had ever imagined.

My experience says that motivation is not always easy to keep. And in fact our actions show our priorities. Our minds help us define our actions, but when there is lack of motivation we should try to figure out the real meaning of that and normally that’s because we need to reorganize our concept of success (you can read about this in my post: About our own concept of success) and redefine realistically the goals we want to achieve.

And that’s why the quote above is so powerful… Imagining ourselves one year from now, what would make us really happy then? That answer will give us not only the perception of what and where we want to be, but is also the key to Motivation…

So… where do you imagine yourself performing in one year? Who will be with you? Who will guide you until then? Who will you be?
